Incredible organizations
Dear Editor:
Once again, it is my great privilege to thank the members of the St. Andrews Auxiliary and The Miles League for their incredible work in support of LincolnHealth. I use the word “incredible” because you dedicate so much time and effort supporting our staff, our mission, and the well-being of the region.
This year is a perfect example. Your efforts at both Thrift Shops, the LincolnHealth Gift Shop and other fund raisers, provided the necessary funds to help purchase some of our organizations’ top equipment priorities. As a not-for-profit organization, trustees and management are constantly reviewing and budgeting our finances to make the best use of our limited resources. It’s a very rare occasion when we can afford to fund most of our priorities.
Your generous donations of more than $140,000 means we can purchase vital equipment such as a pulse/oxygen monitor for the Urgent Care Center, a bedside monitor for the I.C.U., a patient lift for the new Zimmerli Pavilion, and a cardiac monitor for the Emergency Department. This year’s gifts will also be used to support both the CMCC/LincolnHealth Nursing School and the Tufts/Maine Medical Center Medical School Program.
Your hard work, dedication and devotion to meeting the health care needs of Lincoln County made all of this possible.
Therefore, on behalf of the trustees, administration, medical staff, employees and volunteers of LincolnHealth, please accept my most sincere and heartfelt thanks. You are all incredible.
