Happy memories
Dear Editor:
Many years ago, during the summers of 1970 and 1971, I worked at Ocean Point Inn as a chambermaid. One coworker was Barry Plummer, whose father was an artist and had a gallery at Ocean Point. I have very fond memories of those summers, of the fun we had short-sheeting beds and playing pranks. It was all good natured fun and Barry and the rest of us had great times.
I was reading the article about the bus driver, Sarah Plummer, in the February 6 issue and wondered if she could be a relation. I know Barry and family lived in Chelmsford, Mass., but I thought it would be a connection.
Though the article was sadly about Mrs. Plummer’s untimely death, it brought back very happy memories about Ocean Point.
