Grateful
Dear Editor:
Cleaning out a home can be a daunting and emotional task. The first step is distributing items to family and friends, followed by sorting what can be donated to local thrift stores, the Community Center, the Rotary Barn, and Habitat for Humanity. Eventually, you are left with the items that nobody wants or needs.
Fortunately, we have a local businessman who is willing to remove and properly dispose of those unwanted items. Zachary of Seacoast Junk & Demo in Edgecomb did a remarkable job removing and disposing of a wide variety of things, including heavy building materials, beds that no one else would take, lawn furniture, and more. He even took down two hornet nests and removed the Christmas lights from the porch.
Zachary was not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely kindhearted. He understood the emotions involved in dispersing the personal belongings of a friend, and he approached the job with both compassion and respect.
Thank you, Zachary, for your strong work ethic, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help. You certainly made a very challenging task feel much lighter.
With gratitude.
