Nonprofit and public organizations in Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties seeking funding for projects that strengthen communities are encouraged to apply to Maine Community Foundation’s Community Building Grant Program.

The deadline for applying is Feb. 15. Application, guidelines, and a list of recent grants are available at www.mainecf.org.

A volunteer committee of community and business leaders from the two counties reviews grants and makes recommendations for funding. In 2018, the committee awarded more than $80,000 in grants to 13 nonprofits.
