The fourth-seeded Boothbay Region Seahawks lost to the fifth-seeded Wayflete Flyers, 4-1, in the quarterfinal round of the Class C South playoffs Monday, June 2.
The Seahawks finished the season with a 7-4 record while Waynflete improved to 9-5 and moved on to the semifinal round.
