Giles family benefit March 29
Fifteen members and four guests were present at the Lodge meeting on Monday, March 17.
We welcomed four new members into our Lodge by performing their first rank installation on Monday. We had a lot of fun, and it's good to see some new faces in the hall.
Forty to fifty people attended the dance, with the band Sweating Bullets on Saturday night. The band sounded excellent.
The cribbage tournament on Sunday was well attended, with 18 people competing. This has been a great revenue generator for our Lodge and we will continue the tournaments until further notice.
There will be a public dart tournament on Saturday, March 22 at the hall. Sign up begins at 9:30 a.m. for men's and women's singles, with competition beginning at 10 a.m. Men's and women's doubles will begin at 1 p.m., with sign up starting at 12:30 p.m. Hope to see a lot of players.
A potluck supper and auction for the benefit of the Giles family will be held at the hall on Saturday, March 29. Those wishing to donate food and auction items can contact Garry Blackman Sr., Tim Sprague or any other member of the Lodge.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
