Dear Editor:

Regarding our Rep. Bruce MacDonald's "Update from Augusta" dated February 8, stating his support of accepting funds offered through Obamacare, please spare us and give us a break, Bruce. Your position that bigger government is better with "freebies" waved in front of the public's face as bait to help support that position is getting tiresome.

Monies through Obamacare is just another "we're from the government and we're here to help you — no strings attached" fallacy. In fact now more than ever leading the pack when it comes to the other three: the check's in the mail; sure I'll love you in the morning; and the computer is down.
