Dear Editor:

I write these letters to counter the lies told by the anti gun crowd, not to change the minds of people like Nehring, Kelly or Reed. Logic, common sense and actual evidence are lost on them and they keep banging that anti gun drum. Their only goal is to strip the Second Amendment from the Constitution and disarm the American people. At least this time I got them to admit it.

All of the laws these guys support will accomplish nothing to reduce violent crime in our country. None would have stopped any of the events that Reed trotted out so we could see how compassionate this agenda is. He even went so far as to suggest that I thought they were “good” and he still may not get the reference. All three continue to throw out the term “assault rifle” without having any understanding of what they are talking about. Kelly wants to tell us how many rounds of ammunition we can have and Nehring has to continue to crow about the militia and hunting.

Either get some new material gentlemen, or get a new cause. Maybe if you hate living in a nation that protects the rights of law abiding citizens to have firearms you should find one that doesn’t and move there. Go to England; maybe you can help with the “Save a life, surrender your knife” campaign.

You could actually work towards repealing the Second Amendment (you can’t amend it Bob).

Those of you who own firearms, of whatever type and for whatever reason, stay alert and work to stop these infringements; it’s my rifle they want now but, these guys will get to yours eventually

For you out there who feel that guns in the hands of lawful citizens is the problem I have a question: With approximately 120 million legal gun owners in America in control of an estimated 350+ million guns, if we are the problem how is anyone left alive?
