Dear Editor:

I read your newspaper's story of the sailors rescuing the kayakers with great interest and respect for their quick, effective and most assuredly life-saving action.

I am not surprised to know Ken Rosen would act so bravely and decisively. He and his wife, Ellen are long-time friends. We live in the same Miami neighborhood and have visited them in Maine where they spend summers in your northern paradise.

Mr. Treworgy is surely as fine a gentleman as Ken. They both deserve awards for their actions.
