Dear Editor:

Thank you to all who participated in “Loaves and Fishes to Go” on Friday, Jan. 10, which raised more than $1,500 for Fuel Assistance in our community.

A special team from the Congregational Church planned, publicized, baked and chopped vegetables for this delicious meal of fish chowder, fresh rolls and homemade brownies.

Special thanks to: Laura and Steve Francis of The Gallery, who prepared the chowder; Hannaford Supermarket for supporting the purchase of ingredients; and Janet Cusano (Southport General Store), Ginny Farrin (Howard House B&B), and Marybeth Dubois (River’s End) for the fresh delicious rolls and bread.
