Fall concert for hunger Oct. 26
Edgecomb Community Church is sponsoring a fall concert to address children’s nutrition and hunger in the Edgecomb/Wiscasset area. Sunday, Oct. 26, is the date and the time is 3 p.m. at the church located at 15 Cross Point Road in Edgecomb.
Church pianist, composer and soloist Joseph Cough will be offering many musical styles of music to a varied-aged audience. Families with children are strongly encouraged to attend as there will be many chances for audience participation, especially children. Mr. Cough has a varied background in music, including teaching voice, digital audio, piano, guitar, and songwriting at the Midcoast Music Academy, and acquired his master of music in vocal performance from the University of Maine.
Mr. Cough has also invited a co-musician Tom Luther to join him in this much anticipated concert for all ages.
Admission is by donation only. All proceeds will go toward aiding children’s hunger through the Edgecomb Eddy School and the Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars Program.
