Erspamer-Wilson wedding
Stephanie Erspamer and Colin Wilson were married on July 29, 2022 in the Wilson Memorial Chapel on Ocean Point. Joyful music, performed by Castlebay, accompanied the ceremony. Afterwards, friends and family celebrated and caught up with each other’s lives at the Chowder House in Boothbay Harbor. Photographer Bob Mitchell, from Southport, captured the day’s happiness with his camera.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Heidi Erspamer of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. She earned a bachelor of music degree from the College of Music at Michigan State University and is an early childhood music teacher at MSU’s Community Music School-Detroit.
The groom is the youngest son of Jack and Ginny Wilson of Royal Oak, Michigan. He graduated with a BA in psychology from Wayne State University and is currently working toward becoming a journeyman electrician.
They met on a dating site where Stephanie had posted a photo of herself wearing a snail costume her mother made for her years earlier. They hit it off on their first in-person coffee date and married five years later. They live in Ferndale, Michigan but look forward to carrying on a tradition, spanning five generations, of returning to the Boothbay region in the summertime to create more beautiful memories.
