Join the Southport Island Association for our annual picnic! The picnic event on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 5 to 7 p.m., is open to all residents of the Southport community, friends and guests. Come out and share a couple of hours with your neighbors. Emily and Mackenzie Hurd will host this year’s picnic at their home at 30 Cozy Harbor Road on the west side of Southport.

Cost for the picnic is $10 per adult with children under the age of 12 free. Beverages will be available with a donation. Hot dogs, hamburgers, rolls and condiments will be provided.

We ask that each family/individual bring one dish to share. An appetizer or salad (starch, veggie or fruit), baked beans, finger foods or one of your favorite side dishes would be much appreciated to go with our burgers and dogs!
