Courtesy of Jennie PlummerThe seventh season of Community Lunch began Monday, Nov. 2 at Brady's with the Boothbay Region Dart League hosting and cooking. League members Jimmy Merrill, Teresa Orne, Jay Quinn, and Scott Edwards along with a bevy of minions put out a great meal of homemade spaghetti and meat sauce, Caesar salad, garlic knots and desserts. Tancy "Momma T" Mitchell also kept up with her traditional haddock chowder providing everyone with her award-winning recipe.
Many new faces were in the crowd along with the familiar faces we all love to see. Monday’s fun fact was the youngest attendee was Parker Mitchell at 4 months old and Howard Wright at 97 years young!
The Community Lunch has become a staple in the winter for food and fellowship. All are welcome
Next week's lunch will be hosted by Chef Stan Hornsby. We are all looking forward to what Stan will bring to the buffet.
