Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Boothay on Saturday, Nov. 30, arriving aboard one of Boothbay's finest fire engines to the gorgeous and festive Boothbay Common.
A trio of sailboats adorned with multi-colored lights, the gazebo all decked out in white lights, with two regal burgandy throne chairs for the Clauses, and Christmas music floating on the air across the Common to the sweet, treats and craft tables.
While waiting for Santa's arrival, and afterward, kids and adults played cornhole, took photos by smiling through the opening of a snowman faceboard, or tried taking a twirl with one of the hula hoops. The popcorn, hot chocolate, and cookies made it all the sweeter.
