Dear Editor:

As most folks are aware, the Seahawk basketball team took a major blow when six of its players failed the school athletic pledge. Since then I've heard a few folks talk about not going to the tourney. “Why bother?”

Allow me to say that more than ever this community needs to rally around the kids who did the right thing. I know that they will go to Augusta and play their hearts out for I.J. and us. We need to show them that we honor that dedication and support their doing what is right. So put on your Blue and Gold, make the trek to Augusta on Monday and cheer your lungs out for our team.
