Dear Editor:

I recently drove Charlotte Nutt, candidate for Maine House District 48, as she canvassed voters throughout South Bristol. We stopped at over 20 homes and, time after time, I watched as she engaged in lengthy, animated conversation—with folks she had only just met—about their vision for good government.

During brief moments between stops, she and I discussed issues ranging from regional planning to land use to her favorite music (Indie-Funk!).

Charlotte Nutt is a bright, articulate young woman whose professional life has been devoted to helping regional and municipal governments plan for the future. Born, raised, and living in the Midcoast, Charlotte is committed to our region in a manner few can match. I know Charlotte will be a worthy successor to Rep. Holly Stover, who has served our area with distinction. Please support Charlotte Nutt for House Representative from District 48.
