Bulldogs take a bite out of Boothbay

Hall-Dale pulled itself out of a 1-1 tie May 20, scoring three runs in the seventh inning to beat Boothbay 4-1 at Boothbay. Boothbay and Hall-Dale scored a run each in the fifth inning. Aidric Canada scored for the Seahawks. Dominick Dow led batting for the Seahawks with two hits, while Shawn Gamage and Canada had one each.

Finn Harkins and Liam Jacobs pitched for Boothbay, throwing eight strikeouts and allowing four earned runs and walks. Boothbay struck out seven times with one earned run. The Seahawks had two errors and the Bulldogs had none.

The Seahawks are now 4-8 for the season. They are ninth of 11 in the Class D South Heal point standings.
