BRHS girls basketball and band seniors honored

A second night of Senior Night ceremonies at Boothbay Region High School was held Wednesday, Feb. 7 before the girls basketball game.

Senior basketball players Sarah Kreft and Meg Sledge and band member/swimmer Suzie Edwards were presented flowers to give to those in attendance representing them.

Pep Band instructor Jeff Waldrop presented the flowers to Edwards. She is the daughter of Miriah Swan and Steve Edwards. She has been with the school bands for nine years, three years in the pep band and has participated on the school swim team for three years. She is undecided on a school but planning to double major in music performance and political science.

Basketball coach Bruce Orne and his assistants presented the flowers to Kreft and Sledge.

Kreft is the daughter of Amanda and Mike Kreft and has played basketball for one season. She plans to attend the University of Maine in Orono for psychology and neuroscience.

Sledge is the daughter of Jenny and Matt Sledge and has played basketball for four years. She plans to attend Maine Maritime Academy for marine transportation operations.
