Boothbay Region High School boys basketball coach Dan Hallinan and staff handed out lots of certificates, varsity letters, adornments, plaques and more Tuesday, March 5 at the program’s annual awards night.

Standout senior Finn Harkins received the most accolades. He was the team’s most valuable player, was named to the Mountain Valley Conference first team all-star team, is a McDonald’s Senior All-Star and is only the second Seahawk boys basketball player ever to score 40 points in a game (against Waynflete Jan. 2). He averaged 20.6 points per game during the season for the Seahawks, who finished the season with a 5-13 record.

Senior Luke Morley and junior Tyson French were named MVC honorable mention all-stars. Morley is also a McDonald’s Senior All-Star.
