The Boothbay Region Democratic Committee (BRDC) invites local Democrats and friends to join us for delicious food and fellowship on the Boothbay Common from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18.

The picnic menu will feature homemade chowders and chilis, served alongside freshly baked bread, mulled cider, and a variety of side dishes. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert to share. All cash donations will benefit local food banks. The Boothbay Common offers limited picnic tables for seating, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs if they wish.

Candidates running for various offices in Maine government, as well as elected officials, are invited to attend the picnic. Take this opportunity to meet them, ask questions, and learn more about their positions on key issues that matter to our community; no formal speeches are planned.

The Boothbay Region Democratic Committee represents Maine Democrats in the towns of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, South Bristol, and Southport. We are committed to fostering Democratic and progressive values through community engagement, and this picnic serves as both a celebration of our shared values and a chance to contribute to an important cause—supporting local food banks.
