Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club
Even if the weather doesn’t suggest it, spring is here by reason of the fact that Blake’s has started to install the moorings in our club front field. They have also put in a second 420 float to provide space for the full fleet of very active junior sailors.
In fact last weekend they were active at Yarmouth for their second regatta and Charles reports that our team finished third in a field of nine clubs.
On the construction front, the electricians and insulation teams have been extremely busy. The gathering room is ready for sheetrock and the harbor level rooms are almost all framed out and nearly all wired. Plumbing down there is still underway. Speaking of underway, the stairs up from the harbor level to the main floor have been completed and, should you pass the building on 27, the main entrance portico is nigh on to completion.
Don’t forget Thursday the 19th at Chez Shea!
