Boothbay Harbor man runs first Ironman Triathalon

Matt Thomson of Boothbay Harbor ran his first Ironman Triathalon in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho June 23, finishing in 11 hours, 33 minutes and 399th out of 2,700 participants. The Ironman has a 2.6-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a 26.2-mile marathon all in one day.
