The Boothbay Lady Seahawks beat Kents Hill, 58-45, in Mountain Valley Conference basketball action, Bella Orr led the Lady Seahawks in scoring with 18 points propelling her team to victory at Porter Memorial Gymnasium.

Boothbay led by four after one quarter and 30-23 at the half. Boothbay had a good offensive performance with seven players scoring. Maddie Orchard was the second leading scorer with 14. Sophie White scored eight. Meg Sledge had seven. Magen Burge and Anna Gosselin each scored four. Abby Orchard added three.

Boothbay improves to 5-9. Kents Hill drops to 0-11. 

Boothbay’s next game is a road contest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29 versus Madison.
