The Boothbay Farmers’ Market starts its season on Boothbay Town Common on Thursday, May 23. They will set up on the Common from 9 a.m. to noon every Thursday through October 10, except that the market will take place on Wednesday, July 3 instead of on July 4.
Dan Sortwell of Big Barn Coffee, market president, said, “We have thirty members, including Blazing Tomato Wood Fired Pizza, a new vendor with a mobile pizza oven. Arkeo Farm, another new vendor, raises goats and produces goat meat based products such as chili and meatballs. Our local business members include Boothbay Craft Brewery & Tavern in Boothbay and Mana Medicinals in Boothbay Harbor.”
The Boothbay Farmers’ Market’s vendors bring their finest quality food, fiber, and flowers to each Thursday morning market. Musicians perform on busy market days. Boothbay Farmers’ Market has been on Boothbay Town Common for the past 16 years and has become a popular summer attraction.
