The Boothbay Seahawks earned a post-season berth Oct. 26 with a 38-16 victory over Washington Academy in East Machias. This was Bootbay's fourth win which clinched the final  playoff berth in small conference eight-man football action.

On defense, the Seahawks were led by Shawn Gamage with his 13.5 tackles. Griffin Yereance had 9.5 tackles and Spencer Wenners had 7.5. On offense, Maddox Cusumano and Aidric Canada both ran for two touchdowns. Gamage also caught a 38-yard touchdown pass.

Boothbay had a slow start this season losing their first three games. At mid-season, Boothbay turned their season around by winning four the last five contests.

Boothbay now plays No. 1 Old Orchard Beach in the semi-final round (to be announced). Seahawks and Seagulls opened the season on Sept. 5 in Old Orchard Beach. The Seagulls won, 68-0.
