Junior Bella Orr scored 20 points, 10 of them from the free throw line, to lead the Boothbay Region Seahawks to a 61-51 win at Oak Hill in Wales Monday, Jan. 8.

Other scorers for Boothbay included Tatum French with 11, Meg Sledge with 10, Anna Gosselin with seven, Magen Burge and Maddie Orchard with six points each, and Sophie White with one point.

The Seahawks trailed after one quarter 13-8, but went on to outscore the Raiders in the middle two quarters, 38-19.

Boothbay improved to 3-6 on the season while Oak Hill dropped to 0-6.

High scorers for Oak Hill included Aubrey McElhaney with 13 and Haylee Harris with 12.

The Seahawks next host Mountain Valley on Friday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.
