Boards recommend yes on Southport's fiber optic system

Southport selectman Smith Climo, and a member of the Southport Community Broadband Committee, announced Thursday, April 22 that both the Southport Selectmen and Budget Committee recommend a “yes” vote on the town's upcoming special election to support installing a fiber optic system to homes and businesses on Southport.

The vote is on Friday, May 7 and absentee ballots are available.
