Join the University of Maine alumni for a dinner and speaker June 17.

The deadline for registration for the Mid Coast Alumni dinner gathering at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club, is Wednesday, June 14, and is fast approaching. Don't miss this chance to join with fellow alumni and friends at BHYC to enjoy dinner prepared by our BHYC renowned chef, Ray Franklyn (formerly of Solo Bistro in Bath).

Our guest speaker is Rich Powell, professor of political science and founding director of the William S. Cohen Institute for Leadership and Public Service at the University of Maine, Orono. Dr. Powell is the 2020 Distinguished Maine Professor. This is the University of Maine's most prestigious faculty award. His topic is "Foraging the Next Generation of Maine's Public Service-Minded Leaders."

Tom Peaco, President University of Maine alumni will also provide a briefing on “What’s Happening in Orono.”
