In its commitment to support working waterfront in Boothbay Harbor in every way possible with its working pier, Boothbay Harbor Waterfront Preservation has a limited number of slots available for lobster fishermen to store their traps on their Eastside Waterfront Park property at 63 Atlantic Avenue. These 24’x24’ spaces are available from Nov. 1 through May 15, 2025. The charge for winter storage is $150 plus a $150 deposit which will be refunded if traps are removed and the area cleaned by the May 15, 2025 deadline. Lobstermen can lease on an annual basis (with this year as Year One) for a maximum of three years, after which they must wait for one year in order to provide access to this service to as many as possible.
