Monica Wood, the first guest of Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club's guest authors series, will speak at BHYC at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2. A Maine native, Wood is a novelist and short story writer whose recent popular novels about family include "The One-in-a-Million Boy" (April 2016), and the multi-award-winning "When We Were the Kennedy's: A Memoir from Mexico, Maine" (2012).
