Best selling author Douglas Preston will speak on his expedition to discover a lost city in Honduras, as told in his book “The Lost City of the Monkey God” at 7 p.m. at Southport Memorial Library (1032 Hendricks Hill Rd.). Pictures and video will accompany his talk. Additional books written by Preston, will also be available, namely “The Monster of Florence” and the latest Pendergast novel, “Verses for the Dead.”  FMI call the library at 633-2741.
