Friends of Windjammer Days Information Tent open Tuesday, June 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday, June 26, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.: raffle ticket drawings every hour; Grand Prize ticket drawn at 8 p.m.

SUNDAY, JUNE 23

8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - R/C sailing competition at Spruce Point Inn (SPI) - SPI and the Maine Model Yacht Club (MMYC) to host a day of R/C sailing competition and spectating at the Spruce Point Inn dock and oceanside pool. 

12:30 p.m. - Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club One Design Races - Best viewing at Maine State Aquarium.

1:30 p.m. - Blessing of the (Fishing) Fleet - By local clergy. Best viewing: on the water or Fishermen’s Memorial Park on Atlantic Ave.

6 p.m. - Boothbay’s Got Talent - Youth compete for the titles of: The Royal Windjammer (Ages 7-12) and The Top Royal (ages 13-18). Boothbay Region YMCA, 261 Townsend Ave.

8-10:30 p.m. - Harbor Aglow/Lighted Boat Parade. Boats light up at 8 while docked; parade at 9.

MONDAY, JUNE 24

1-3 p.m. - 6th Annual Windjammer Days Crab Cake Cook Off - Boothbay Harbor Inn, Atlantic Ave. A ticketed event. Purchase at https://tinyurl.com/4kf2tyem.

3:30 -5 p.m. - Meet & Greet – Boatbuilders of the Boothbay Region at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort, 35 Atlantic Ave.

TUESDAY, JUNE 25

7- 9 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast – Whale Park, Commercial St.

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Kids Alley - Whale Park, Commercial St.

10–10:30 a.m. - Pirates of the Dark Rose Puppet Show, Whale Park

10 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Windjammers for Wee Mateys -  Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library lawn, 4 Oak St.

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Pirate Tortuga - bazaar with games and activities in Whale Park

11:30 a.m. - Crudbeard’s Cannon Lessons - Whale Park

2 p.m. - Pirate Weapons Demonstration – Whale Park

3 p.m. - Recruitment of Young Pirates – Whale Park

4 p.m. - Crudbeard’s Cannon Lessons - Whale Park

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

7 – 9 a.m. - Pancake Breakfast – Whale Park

10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Maine State Aquarium – Activities. McKown Point Road, W. Boothbay Harbor

10 – 11 a.m. - Pirate Tortuga - bazaar with games and activities in Whale Park

10:30 a.m. - Crudbeard’s Cannon Lessons - Whale Park

High Noon – The Battle For Boothbay Harbor – Live cannon fire! Whale Park

12:30 p.m. - Lobster Eating Contest – Open to all. Sign up at Friends Tent

1-3 p.m. - GATHERING OF THE FLEET – Local and visiting schooners arrive in the Harbor

Noon -2 p.m. - Photography Cruise - Bring your cameras and sail aboard the Balmy Days with professional photographer Michael Leonard. Get tips while taking photos of the Windjammer Fleet before they begin the sail into the Harbor. Tickets: Call Balmy Days Cruises, 207-633-2284 or visit the company website.

2-3 p.m. - Pirate Tortuga - Games and activities in Whale Park

2 p.m. - Cod Fish Races – Teams sign up at the Friends of WJD tent in the Whale Park. Races on Commercial St.

4 p.m. - Street Parade! Event begins from schools parking lot and proceeds to downtown

7- 8:30 p.m. - American Ghost Walks Tour - Expand your knowledge of local supernatural lore. By reservation only. Visit www.americanghostwalks.com/maine for tickets and information.

9 p.m. - Fireworks!!! 

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Artists’ Alley – In the Whale Park. Art, jewelry, pottery … a treasure trove of creativity.

7 - 8:30 p.m. - American Ghost Walks – Expand your knowledge of the supernatural with local accounts (by reservation only). Visit www.americanghostwalks.com/maine for tickets and information.

FRIDAY, JUNE 28

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Artists Alley – In the Whale Park.

4-7 p.m. - Vintage Boat Parade & Pier Party – Watch the antique vessels parade ‘round the Harbor. Then to Bristol Marine Shipyard for the party - tickets required. Purchase at www.boothbayharborwindjammerdays.org.

7:30 p.m. - Tim Sample - At the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor, 86 Townsend Ave. 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets $25 at box office at 207-633-5159. Regular tickets $30, online and day of show.

SATURDAY, JUNE 29

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - BHML Fundraiser - On the Library lawn, 4 Oak St. Games, bouncy house, more.

11 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Boat Bar Party - Chowder House, 22 Granary Way. A ticketed event - $27.50. Visit https://t.ly/FU1O1 to purchase ticket that includes select appetizers. Cash bar. Watch all three events from the deck!

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Orne’s Candy Store’s International Rock Skipping Contest - Sign up begins at 11 a.m. Prizes! 

1-2 p.m. - Tug of War Across the Harbor - Teams of 8-10 compete for the Loving Cup and braggin’ rights. At the Footbridge parking lot.

2-3 p.m. - NEW! Server Shuffle - Local wait staff race against each other while carrying a bar tray with drinks ... without spillage.

5-7 p.m. - YMCA Art Show Opening - Featuring the work of Charlie Newell, including a painting entitled “Windjammer Days.” Check out all of the other art exhibited at the Y, located at 261 Townsend Ave. FYI: 30% of all sales will be donated to the YMCA!
