Boothbay Special Olympics will be holding its biggest fundraiser of the year, the Leprechaun Leap, at Hendricks Head Beach, Southport scheduled on Friday, March 15 at 3:30 p.m.

Matthew Cusumano. along with his grandmother Roberta Blaney, Boothbay Special Olympics coach Toby LeConte and others are organizing the fundraiser. Donation cans with information sheets on the event and how to donate by check have been placed in area businesses. Money raised during the fundraiser is used for sports equipment, travel and other expenses for the Special Olympians.
