Boothbay too much for Wolverines
Senior point guard Anthony DiMauro scores 19 and his 1,000th point in Boothbay's quarterfinal tournament win

The Boothbay Region Seahawks advanced to the Western Maine Class C semifinals where they will face the Madison Bulldogs on Thursday at 8:30pm after a 67-43 victory over the Wiscasset Wolverines on Monday night in Augusta.
After jumping out to an 11-6 lead, the Seahawks only trailed once, after a 10-2 run by the Wolverines led by six straight points from Dale Peaslee. A 7-0 run to close out the quarter by the Seahawks came on a put back by Anthony DiMauro, a three-point play by Andrew Hallinan, and hoop inside by Evan Hepburn.
DiMauro led the Seahawks with 19 points and with his last hoop of the night in the fourth period, passed the 1,000 point mark for his career. John Hepburn had 16 points and Andrew Hallinan pitched in with 12.
Leading by 12 after three quarters, the Seahawks would go on a 14-2 run to start the final quarter as they pushed the pace leading to fast break opportunities and being opportunistic on the offensive back boards. John Hepburn added 18 points and Andrew Hallinan 12 for Boothbay.
The Seahawks faced Madison once in the regular season coming away with a 55-51 victory on December 21.
