The Boothbay Region High School boys varsity basketball team improved to 5-3 with a 75-49 win at Wiscasset Middle High School Monday night.

The Seahawks jumped out to a 23 -7 lead after one quarter and led 44-24 at the half.

Leading the scoring for Boothbay was Kyle Ames with 23 points, followed by Steve Reny with 14 and Nick Simpson with 12. Hunter Crocker added nine points.

Wiscasset (0-9) was paced by Zach Reed with 17 and Dylan Orr with 12.exe

Boothbay will next play at Hall-Dale (8-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
