Lady Seahawks escape Roadrunners 42-38
The Lady Seahawks entered Mount Abram's gym confident they could easily overcome the seventh-seeded Roadrunners, but instead Boothbay narrowly escaped with the 42-38 win on January 18.
Boothbay headed into the fourth quarter with a 13-point lead, but were unable to score a field goal, allowing Mount Abram to make a late game run, which brought them to within four points of an upset, when the final buzzer sounded.
Allison Crocker led Boothbay with 13 points, and Sarah Caron with 11.
Game Over: Seahawks win 42-38.
Third Quarter: With one quarter left to play, the Seahawks are up 37-24.
Second Quarter: Seahawks ahead at the half 26-16.
First Quarter: The Seahawks lead 17-8.

Original post: The Boothbay Region High School Lady Seahawks (10-2) will travel to Strong tonight to face the Mount Abram Roadrunners (6-6) at 7 p.m, January 18. It will be the second game in two nights for both teams.
Last night, the Lady Seahawks rallied from behind to defeat the Oak Hill Raiders 47-37, while the Roadrunners fell to number one seeded Madison Bulldogs 42-33.
