Rocktide redistribution set to go Feb. 18
The rescheduled redistribution event at Rocktide Inn will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., organizers have confirmed. Paul and Giselaine Coulombe are generously redistributing furniture and household goods from the Rocktide Inn, and if you are in need of some “stuff,” this is the place to be.
Area nonprofits and volunteers will be there to lend a hand and if needed, provide some capacity to transport large items on the Boothbay peninsula only. All items are in “as is” condition and are not intended for resale.
A large turnout is expected so everyone is asked to be patient. To make the process flow better, motorists are asked to park vehicles at the Boothbay Harbor Inn and walk over to Rocktide. Helpers are keeping the Rocktide parking lot clear for trucks entering and loading for deliveries. Please bring boxes, totes, or bags you may need for household items, like sheets, towels, comforters, etc.
If you have questions about the event, call Heather Lorrain at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor at 633-4757.
