With the help of some local "boys," an old horse barn on Barters Island has a new life and purpose as a home. It will stand for another 100 years. Local builder Seth Lewis of Barters Island Woodworks lovingly restored this barn. His work is to be admired, said owner Patty Zinkowski. Framing dated to the turn of the last century. Historical design services were provided by Marty Moore of Southport. Steve Lorrain and son put the final touches on the old barn doors. Sean Fleming will come to The Lincoln Home for a one-hour concert and sing-a-long featuring love songs. Senior winter athletes were honored at the final home basketball games at Boothbay Region High School this week.
