To end its successful series on Tuesday, Sept. 20, the Bootbhay Harbor Yacht Club will host East Boothbay resident, artist and author Cheryl Blaydon, who will talk about her third novel, “The Heart of Stone." The book bridges three generations and depicts coastal Maine and its people.

The lecture begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch to follow. Jeff Curtis of Sherman's will provide the books for the author to sign.
