The Boothbay Region YMCA is hosting a volunteer planting event at the new natural playground at the Harbor Montessori and Child Enrichment Center. The planting will be held Friday, July 29 from 8 a.m. to noon. (Rain date is Monday, August 1.)

Volunteers will help plant the many small plants and bushes, which will be laid out in their locations. Please bring a garden shovel if you have one! Stay for 30 minutes or for the whole morning - many hands make light work! We will provide refreshments.
