Free loaner bicycles available for summer workers

The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is ready to provide loaner bikes to anyone needing transportation in order to work in the Boothbay region.
There are two types of bikes available: brand new all-aluminum bikes and used bikes of various kinds. A refundable deposit is required at the time you pick up your bike. The deposit is $100 for the brand new bikes and $20 for the used bikes. Bike pick ups take place on Saturdays and Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club House at 66 Montgomery Road (first left off of Route 96 heading east from the Hannafords’ intersection). If you need more specific directions, you can pick up a map at Oak Street Provisions.
