Seahawk girls, boys defeat Ramblers

The Seahawk varsity girls and boys faced off against the Winthrop Ramblers at home Wednesday night, Dec. 12 with both Boothbay teams winning. The girls won easily, 76-18, holding the Ramblers scoreless in the final quarter. The boys won 58-41 as they raced out to a 20-6 first quarter lead and outscored Winthrop 18-11 in the final frame. Leading the scoring for the Seahawk girls were Abby McLellan with 19 points, followed by Alex Clarke with 17 and Allison Crocker with 12. John Hepburn led the Boothbay boys with 23 points, followed by Anthony DiMauro with 12.
