Boothbay Charities Classic volunteers participating in annual event

On Saturday, Sept. 12, volunteers will be offering to wash windshields at select Irving Oil and Circle K gas stations in Maine. Irving Oil will make a generous donation to Special Olympics Maine following the event.
Customers will have the opportunity to make a donation to their local team, as volunteers from the Boothbay Charities Classic organization washes their windshield.
The Boothbay Charities Classic's 25th annual event takes place on Sept. 25 and 26, involving the lobster bake and sports auction on Friday, which are open to the public and the main event of a full round of golf on Saturday. A slew of celebrities from Hall of Fame sports figures to TV personalities attend annually.
