On Saturday, Oct. 13 the First Congregational Church of Wiscasset will host its fourth annual Oktoberfest.  From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., church members will be selling pumpkins, freshly picked local apples, some fabulous craft items, a delicious variety of baked goods, and their very popular cookbook, “Recipes from the Church on the Common.”  

Come with an appetite, as they will also be grilling bratwurst, served with Morses’s sauerkraut, as well as hot dogs. Tables and chairs will be set up for lunch on the common.  This is a family event, and there will be activities such as pumpkin painting for children as well.
