Budget season presentations begin January 8
Budget season is beginning for the AOS 98 schools in Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb and Georgetown.
Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District School Committee members will have a first look at the proposed instructional budgets for the 2014-2015 school year for Boothbay Region Elementary School (BRES) and Boothbay Region High School (BRHS).
As the season progresses, budgets for special education, food service, transportation, the health center and student body activities will round out the school budget information for committee approval.
The CSD school committee will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 6:15 p.m. at the BRHS library, or immediately following the CSD Trustees' budget meeting.
All subsequent school committee meetings will be held at the usual time, 6 p.m.
