Adult Ed to offer class on edible holiday gifts
Central Lincoln County Adult Education is offering our popular course; Edible Holiday Gifts on Wednesday night, November 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Nobleboro Central School.
Homemade treats both sweet and savory make wonderful holiday gifts. In this one night class students will make several kinds of homemade goodies suitable to give as presents or to offer as a thoughtful hostess gift when visiting friends or family.
The class will make a killer chocolate peppermint crunch bark as well as some beautiful and delicious cranberry applesauce and a spicy blueberry chutney. At least one make-at-home mix will be created as well. Lots of other recipes will be provided and techniques discussed so participants can make additional treats at home.
Instructor, Ellen Dickens is the CLC Adult Education Director. During her spare time she loves to cook and has been making edible gifts since she was a kid. The cost of the course is $34 for registrations received by November 6 and $39 for all other registrations.
To register, call CLC Adult Education at 207-563-2811, email clcae@aos93.org, visit our website at clc.maineadulted.org, or stop by the office in the Pine Grove Plaza (at the intersection of Route 1 and Business Route 1 in Damariscotta).
