Wood raffle continues
Lodge opened October 21 at 7 p.m. with 15 members present.
We started with a discussion about getting members to help at every Lodge function. Any member can show up to the Monday meetings at 7 p.m. to learn what is going on.
Our wood raffle is continuing. The prize is one cord of wood or $200 cash. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and they can be purchased at Karen’s Hideaway, G & G Towing or from any Lodge member. Hawke Motors is displaying a portion of the wood being raffled off. The drawing will be held November 25 at our meeting.
Our yearly dart league will start tonight, Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. Anyone who wants to play should contact Bill Rogers or Dave Landry.
Blaine Blackman, Bill Rogers and Sweatin’ Bullets will provide the music for a dance at the hall on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Halloween costumes will be judged, raffles will be held and bring your own beverages. Admission is $10 per person.
A single cribbage tournament will be held at the hall on Sunday, Nov. 3 beginning at noon. Admission is $10 per person and prizes for best out of 10 games, high hand, worst record and most 19s will be awarded.
We would like to thank Elaine and Tom Fogarty for their great food donations at our meetings.
