Apple picking field trip

This past week Southport Central School K-2 and Edgecomb Eddy K-1 students joined together for a morning of picking apples at Biscay Orchard.
The children were encouraged to eat an apple while picking. They showed us how to pick apples.
As one student said, “We got to fill a bag to take home.” Back at school we wrote a chart about our favorite part of picking apples. After that we wrote thank you notes to our friends at the orchard.
