Hunter safety course at BRHS
Inland Fisheries and Wildlife instructors will be conducting a Hunter (Firearms) Safety Course at Boothbay Region Adult Education on October 17, 29 and 30 from 6 to 9 p.m.
You must attend all three mandatory classroom dates combined with home study. The location is Boothbay Region High School in Room 104.
This course includes safe and effective use of firearms, type of firearms, safe shooting practices, map and compass. Students will be provided with a course handbook and outdoor survival information.
State law requires this course if you are applying for the first time license. Children ages10-12 may participate if accompanied by an adult. A certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion and exam.
The fee for the course is $10 per person.To register for this course please complete a registration form from the fall brochure or print one from our website: boothbayae.org.
